Study visit to Austria: risk assessment, eco-management and waste-to-energy
The first study visit of the Israel Ministry of Environmental Protection’s current Twinning project took place in Austria. An Israeli delegation – including representatives from the ministry and industry, and members of the Twinning team – travelled to Vienna from May 29th to June 5th Austrian project Partner. Read more

Twinning Missions with UK Experts
These missions proved to be very successful and productive, thanks to the input of experts Mr. Graham Byrne and Mr. Sandy Truesdale from Northern Ireland, who worked closely with professionals from the Ministry.
There is still work to do, however, as the ultimate objective of the missions is for the UK experts to write a "Recommendation Paper."

Manuals in Progress
One focus of the Twinning project is the writing of manuals in all three components based on the specific requirements of the Israeli counterparts . Currently experts from Germany, Austria and UK are working on.

First stakeholder workshop on resource efficiency took place sucessfully in April
Representatives of all 3 project countries – Germany, Austria and UK – were present as either speakers or participating audience.
