The Twinning Team wishes a happy new Year! 

Workshop: about Continuous Emission Monitoring completed 

On November 9th, a workshop of Twinning experts on European CEM (Continuous Emission Monitoring) took place. The large workshop was meant for operators of industrial installations, regulators (like the Ministry of Environmental Protection) and test labs.

First Odour Workshop in Israel (November 2016)


In mid-November, a Twinning mission on the German Odor Ordinance (abbreviated in German as GIRL) and its systematic approach took place.
 
This is the first time European odor experts came to Israel to support the MoEP on odor nuisance.

Study visit in Northern Ireland 

Between 18/09/2016 and 25/09/2016 a study visit took place in Northern Ireland. The study visit took place in the framework of the "Twinning" project, funded by the European Union, to support Implementation and Strengthening.
 
High Level Site Visit 

On January 26, 2017, the EU Twinning Project IL 11, between Israel's Ministry of Environmental Protection (MoEP) and partners in 3 EU countries (Germany, Austria and the UK) organized a high-level site visit to Nesher Ramle Cement Plant, with participation of the MoEP Director General, 3 ambassadors, professional departments of the MoEP and the Twinning team
